Organisation:
Two teams are formed, and they go to each end of the field (usually in a rectangular area). Each member of each team has a number. In the centre of the field there is someone with a handkerchief, and this person directs the game. On the ground a line is drawn, which they must not cross or stand on before they get the handkerchief.
How to play:
The person with the handkerchief says a number. The members of the two teams who have the same number must run to where the handkerchief is, try to get it and return to their place without being tagged by their opponent, who chases them back to their original position. If they cannot manage this they are out. They are also out if they stand on the line drawn on the ground when they pick up the handkerchief. As team members are eliminated, their numbers are taken over by other teammates who keep their own number at the same time.
The game ends when all the members of one team are out, or else the team with the most players left is the winner.
