Description: Plant species considered in danger of extinction in the National Catalogue of Species under Threat and in need of a recovery plan. Endemic to the Canaries and Madeira Isands, currently found in the Canaries only in the highest mountains of Tenerife, La Palma and on the Montaña del Cedro, situated in the eastern part of Gran Canaria.
