Pursuant to legislation concerning the protection of information of a personal nature, as established in Organic Law 15/1999, dated December 13, the purpose of which is to guarantee and protect fundamental personal rights and freedoms, and especially their honour and personal privacy, in relation to data processing, the Gran Canaria Tourist Board informs users that it has adopted the technical and organisational processes established in current legislation.

The personal information collected from the forms on the web are processed by computer and included in the “Master File” registered in the Data Protection Agency under the name of “Gran Canaria Tourist Board”.

We likewise guarantee the confidentiality of the information referring to use queries, both by the Gran Canaria Tourist Board and by the other organisations involved. Should the user fail to consent to include his/her data in this file, the portal will not be able to provide its services.

The purpose of this file is to enable us to promote Gran Canaria to whoever requests information on the island.
