During the last few years, Gran Canaria has hosted many prestigious national and international conferences that have been extremely successful in terms of attendance figures. The mild weather conditions that prevail on the Island throughout the year, as well as the extraordinary locations of the various conference centres, have contributed to placing Gran Canaria in an excellent competitive position when it comes to choosing the ideal destination for holding conferences, workshops, seminars, symposiums and presentations…
There are three modern conference centres on the island, namely the Canary Islands Convention Centre- Alfredo Kraus Auditorium and the Gran Canaria Convention Centre - The Canarian Institution of Trade Fairs (INFECAR), which are both located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, as well as the Maspalomas Conference Centre, which is located in the south of the island in the heart of the new tourist development area of Meloneras. CICCA (Centre for Iniciatives of la Caja de Canarias), located in the capital of the island, is also a small conference centre which hosts many national and international meetings.
