Canary Island Wrestling
This is the native sport par excellence, sharing similarities with Korean and Leon wrestling, but with some distinguishing details that make this sport a unique element of our cultural heritage. There are regular competitions organised all over the island, making it easy for visitors to get to the “terreros” (the wrestling rings where they are held) and gain a better understanding of this enigmatic sport.
