From the Turist Information Office in Maspalomas, on the Avenida de los Estados Unidos, we turn right at the first roundabout and continue along the Avenida de Tirajana. After four roundabouts, the road goes along the Avenida de Fataga, and further on, along the GC-60 main road. After passing through the splendid beauty spot of Degollada de la Yegua viewpoint with splendid views of Arteara and, a few kilometres further along, we reach the picturesque village of Fataga. Here we can make use of the public toilets and enjoy the local gastronomic delights in any one of its restaurants and bars. We stick to the GC-60 main road until we reach the village of Tunte. This route allows us to enjoy the spectacular views of the Barrancos de Fataga throughout the whole journey, and near to Tunte, we can see the Macizo de Amurga (wide mountain) and the Barranco de Tirajana.
