Have you just arrived at Gran Canaria?


Are you at the airport and need to get around on public transport? We make it easy for you.

Which company provides public transport from the airport?  The Global interurban transport company (www.globalsu.net).

Where is the bus stop?

The bus stop is to be found at the national/international departure terminal. Once you are outside the baggage reclaim area, you need to go up a floor (either by escalator or lift) and follow the signs.
 
Tickets can be purchased on the bus itself or at the ticket machine located right at the bus stop.

Would you like to go to the capital located at the north of the island? You can take number 60 or 91 services.

The 60 service takes you directly to the Estación de Guaguas (bus station) at San Telmo right in the city centre of the capital, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. You also have the option of going as far as the Intercambiador de Guaguas (bus depot) at Santa Catalina (Harbour-Canteras area) until 20:15 hours.

The first service from the airport to the capital leaves at 06:15hrs. and the last service is at 23:15hrs.

Please note: the timetables highlighted in grey indicate departures with arrivals at the Intercambiador de Santa Catalina bus depot.

Service 91, which leaves from the Playa del Cura (municipality of Mogán), at the south of the island, to the bus station at San Telmo (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), stops off at the airport. This service operates from 06:30hrs. to 20:35hrs. The 06:30 hours service passes through Faro de Maspalomas (Mondays to Fridays only, except bank holidays). Please note when checking your timetables that the bus will reach the airport stop some 45 minutes after departure from the Playa del Cura.

Would you like to get to the tourist areas to the south of the island? Then you need services 66, 91 and 90.

Service 66 starts out from the airport (international departures) and takes you straight to the main tourist resort of Maspalomas, next to Meloneras. It stops at the following tourist areas in the south: Playa del Águila, San Agustín, Playa del Inglés, Campo Internacional de Maspalomas and finishes up in Faro de Maspalomas. It offers a regular service from 07:20hrs in the morning to 20:20hrs at night.

Bus service 91, on its route from the capital down to the Playa del Cura, stops off at the airport. It also stops at the following tourist areas: Puerto Rico and Amadores. This is regular service from 06:15hrs. to 20:15hrs.
Please note when checking the timetables that the bus will get you to the airport some 15 minutes after its departure from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

Bus service 90 stops at the airport on its way from Telde to Maspalomas. This service also stops at the following tourist areas: Playa del Águila,  Bahía Felíz, San Agustín, Playa del Inglés, campo internacional de Maspalomas and finishes its route at the  Faro de Maspalomas, next to Meloneras.

If you arrive at Gran Canaria outside of these bus timetables, remember that you have the option of travelling by taxi or by car rental.

Taxi stops can be found outside both the national/international and local terminals.
