Tours around the island

Practical information about the Eastern Route

The eastern coast of Gran Canaria shows visitors a landscape based on an orography of gentle slopes amongst deep gullies of great natural value. From the capital of the island, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, one can cross five municipalities which, to a great extent, have spectacular beach areas, ideal for the practise of water sports such as subaqua diving and windsurfing.

The route starts in the capital of the island, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and continues to the second largest town on the island and old pre-hispanic capital of Gran Canaria, Telde, and from here to Valsequillo, Ingenio and Agüimes.
