Endemic to: Risco de Faneque, Gran Canaria

Description: Plant sub-species considered in danger of extinction in the National Catalogue of Species under Threat and in need of a recovery plan. It is endemic to Gran Canaria and the subspecies can be found on the cliffs of Risco del faneque, in the northwest of the island within the Tamadaba Natural Park. It flowers from March to May, with an inflorescence made up of four or seven attractive yellow flowers which are strikingly visibly along with the silver leaves. The fruit appears between April and July and the species reproduces by seeds.
