The International Windsurfing Centre situated at the beach known as Pozo Izquierdo – Santa Lucía, boasts a large range of sporting facilities. It houses a hostel with 8 rooms accommodating 8 people each, one room for handicapped people, showers, a lounge with TV and video, games tables and a round-the-clock reception. It also has a swimming pool, restaurant, cyber area, sports shop and open air pub. The Centre runs a large range of activities which will make your stay a lot of fun and full of action – a windsurfing school, a diving school as well as a centre for adventure activities. This centre hosts the International Windsurfing Championship every year. Windsurfing experts have rated Pozo Izquierdo beach as one of the best places in the world to practise this sport.
