Getting there

The municipality of Santa María de Guía is located 25 kilometres from the capital of the island and can be reached by taking the northern motorway Carretera del Norte (GC-2). The journey to Guía can be done by car in about 20 minutes. Those who prefer public transport will need to go to the bus station (Estación de Guaguas) in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and take a number 105 or 103 bus, all of which terminate in Gáldar or Agaete (Puerto de las Nieves), the municipalities directly after Guía.

Public transport to Guía has a very convenient timetable, with departures approximately every half hour. The journey by bus takes around 30 minutes.
